Micro Tournament Rules
Micro Tournament Rules:
- No points, no advantages, no judges. Submissions only, all subs legal.
- No flagrant attacks: no slams, no groin strikes, eye gouges, small joint manipulation, etc.
Each match will have a regulation period of EIGHT minutes. If there is no submission within regulation, then there will be one EBI-Style overtime to determine the winner. For the finals of each division, up to three overtime periods will determine the winner, if needed.
White Belt Rules:
- No slams, neck cranks/attacking the spine, no leg attacks (except staight ankle locks). Overtime format will remain the same.
NOTE: Good hygeine is REQUIRED to compete in all events. Clean GI and nogi apparel, trimmed finger and toe nails, zero body odor, etc. If we determine you do not meet these standards, you will be asked to remedy them (change clothes, trim nails, etc) before competing. If you refuse to do so, you may be disqualified from competing.
